Participation in the diada castellera of the Festival of Granada will be in charge of Xicots Vilafranca, Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls and the Castellers de Sant Cugat. The performance will take place on Saturday July 8th starting at six in the afternoon before the City Council.
It will be the ninth diada castellera of the history of las Granada, after the last year was recovered ending nine years of absence.
From 2016 only repeat Xicots, who will perform in granadenc territory for eighth time. Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls returns after ten years of its third and last perform (2004, 2005 and 2007), while the Castellers de Sant Cugat are new in la Granada.
The Councillor for culture of la Granada, Joan Amat, has expressed his satisfaction for the poster of the day: "last year we recover the day and this year we give a quality leap that shows our will to consolidate the celebration of the cultural event par excellence of our country".
