Nine years later, the Granada will enjoy a diada castellera that, as had been done previously to its cancellation, will take place during the Festival in the municipality, the Saturday July 9th starting at six in the afternoon before the City Council.
The participation will be in charge of Guys of Vilafranca and Minyons de l ' Arboç, guys from the tower. It will be the eighth diada castellera in the history of the town, the seven previous uninterrupted took place between 2001 and 2007.
In the case of guys, it will be his seventh operation in Granada, while the groups of l ' Arboç and Torredembarra debutaran this year in the municipality.
The Councillor for culture of the city of Granada, John Amat, has expressed their satisfaction for having recovered the diada castellera of the town as it "is the cultural event par excellence of our country", while trusting that "You can consolidate and year after year we enjoy performances in the Castle-Granada ".
On the other hand, it has also been confirmed by the performance of theWonder Orchestra on Sunday 10 with double session: concert in the afternoon and dancing at night.
The Festival of Granada will be held from 8 to 11 July, even though the previous events will begin on Wednesday, day 6 with the presentation of two new web pages: the Town Hall and the tourist promotion of the municipality.
